  • Let your breath go (especially if you have been holding it)
  • Take a deep, slow breath in through your nose and then hold it for a few seconds
  • Let the breath out through your mouth with a long sigh of relief
  • While breathing out and sighing, let your shoulders drop and your hands relax
  • Breathe calmly
  • Relax your lips, your jaw and your forehead
  • Take a few more deep breaths, making sure your body is more relaxed.
  • Then, become aware of the changes that have occurred in your posture, your breathing and your level of tension
  • You may think this is too easy, and you’re right. Too easy!
  • Your body and your mind have now become happier places to be.
